Yes, thank you! I think you put words to exactly what I was thinking but didn’t know quite know how to say. I agree the wrap ties does look and feel bulky against my frame. I also see what you are saying about cinching it. I think it’s a good idea because I like the material of the dress, and the foundation of the dress is fine.However the ties are throwing me off haha it’s certainly going to need some adjustments. Thanks for the suggestion!

I would say it mainly depends on where you live. Like any place there are some good areas and some not so good areas. I would say check the walkability score wherever you decide to live that will give you an idea of if it’s a safe place or not. The main thing you have to be concerned about is car break ins.

Facts. I would have loved to know this before I purchased. I ended up getting a DJI later. I didn’t see many reviews on this drone when I got it and the DJI mini 4K wasn’t out yet. But what can I say you live and you learn 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’d describe the price range as falling somewhere between expensive and expensive lol. Well at least in my opinion as a beginner and considering the type of fabrics I was interested in. I was specifically looking for a Plise Polyester fabric and I paid about $18 per yard.

The first time I visited Mood Fabrics in Miami I was like you so happy to be there and overwhelmed with the offerings. I felt like a legit sewist. lol thanks for sharing

​@@ChardeneyMason Did you go to any other stores in the fashion district? I am looking for stretch faux leather or vinyl fabric that looks like faux leather and its really hard to find in San Diego. From the video it looks like they might have it at Mood, but if the price range is too high then I am unsure of where to go because while there are less expensive options online the color and quality of fabrics is often different through a screen.

@@bloodbriar I didn’t get a chance to visit any other stores in the fashion district. Maybe the next time I’m there I will. & I know what you mean. I ordered fabric online for the first time and it’s a hit or miss when it comes to color. I recommend giving them a call before you order or make a trip to the store for that specific fabric. Maybe even ask if they sell swatches so you can have an idea of what you are getting into. I’m curious to know what you are making with that material? Whatever it is I hope your project goes well and you find what you’re looking for!

@@ChardeneyMason I am trying to make the first Loki outfit from Ragnarok. I have the brown 'leather' for the coat, and the gold and the bright green fabrics for the sleeves and other accents, but the vast majority of the outfit (the pants and the under coat) is a hunter green 'leather' that I can't find. The brown I found is upholstery fabric. This is 'fine' for the length of the coat and width of the shoulders because that doesn't really need to stretch or necessarily allow for much movement, but the main part of the outfit needs a more breathable fabric that will allow the wearer to have range of movement. It needs something that is meant to be used for clothing.

I think they are on sale while supplies last. You might want to call before you go
